God’s Plan for the first Easter

God grew the tree which became a cross.

God placed the iron in the ground from which the nails and spear were crafted.

God placed the rock in the garden from which the tomb was carved.

God grew the cotton that became the shroud for the body of Jesus.

All of these were used to shew the love that God had for all of us in sending His Son to die on the cross.

WHY?  Because “God loved the world so much that He gave His only Son so that anyone who believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life.”

Today can be your day of joining the family of God if you accept His forgiveness of YOUR sins through Jesus Christ our Lord”.

The crucifixion and the grave was NOT the end, but just the beginning of eternal life because Jesus Christ AROSE FROM THE DEAD.

HALLELUJAH!   WHAT A SAVIOR!

This is what Easter is all about.

REJOICE because THE LORD IS RISEN and lives today.

Today, in Florida the perfume of the orange blossoms wafts through our open windows and doors, filling the air with such a soft, yet pungent and pleasing fragrance.

Are our lives with the sweet perfume of God’s love flowing from us, and reaching to others, as a sweet aroma of the knowledge of God’s love within us, as it spreads out to attract others with a desire to know this wonderful and free love of God and His peace through Christ Jesus?

Silent Night-Holy Night

In the silence of night Joseph heard God’s message to him.

In the silence Mary heard the message of the angel Gabriel

In the silence of the fields the shepherds heard the message of Gabriel.

In the silence of the night the shepherds heard the songs of the angels.

In the silence of the sanctuary Zechariah heard the message of Gabriel

To Joseph, he heard,…………….     “Fear not.”

To Mary, she heard……………..      “Fear not.”

To the shepherds, they heard….  “Fear not.”

To Zechariah, he heard…………     “Fear not.”

What do YOU hear in the silence of night?

As we close the turbulent year of 2010 and enter the unknown of 2011, do YOU hear, “FEAR NOT”?
